In the mid 1950s, the extension of Kai Tak Airport runway has brought UDL into dredging and reclamation. By the late 1970s, UDL began to grow in the civil engineering market in Hong Kong.
Awarded projects include Tuen Mun New Town reclamation, Tseung Kwan O New Town reclamation, and Kwai Chung Container Terminal.
In 1990s, anticipating market opportunities through rapid growth in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, UDL expanded its range of engineering services and extended its presence in the region with projects in Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Today, UDL continues striving to grow and helps to shape our home.
