UDL experience in shipbuilding spans over 60 years, beginning in the late 1950s in its shipyard in Yau Tong Bay, Hong Kong.  By the 1990s, UDL has also extended into the offshore engineering sector, building offshore supply vessels (PSV), modules fabrication of topside installation for oil and gas production platforms, fabrication of offshore rig components, as well as pipework and ancillary installations.
